Sanjeevan's Founder, Rajendra Shendage, was an honored guest at the Felicitation Ceremony for Labour Welfare Schemes held at the CREDAI-Pune Auditorium. This event convened various stakeholders dedicated to advancing social security measures and upholding the fundamental rights and dignity of the workforce.
Our Bachpan Ki Buniyad initiative hosted a comprehensive team capacity-building workshop aimed at elevating the professional competencies and instructional methodologies of our frontline pedagogical staff, emphasising stimulating, student-centric educational spaces and a higher standard of early childhood intervention for children of migrant populations.
Our Founder, Rajendra Shendage, engaged in a strategic dialogue with the Nandurbar Zilla Parishad on critical migration-related concerns — highlighting the hardships of migrant households and the need to bridge gaps in educational access, social security, and the delivery of essential welfare entitlements.
We inaugurated a Youth Career Guidance Centre to support youth from migrant communities in building better career pathways — offering career counselling, skill-development opportunities, information on education and employment, and guidance on accessing suitable livelihood opportunities for a more secure, sustainable future.
Sanjeevan conducted entrepreneurship and livelihood training for tribal migrant women in Nandurbar — covering enterprise development, business planning, and financial awareness. Women were also sensitised on safe migration practices, workers' rights, government schemes, and social protection to make informed decisions and reduce migration risks.
Our Bachpan Ki Buniyad Community Learning Centre, Enchante Wagholi, received the Silver Award for Best Labour Camp – Best Facility 2025 from CREDAI Pune, recognising our efforts to create safe and child-friendly spaces for migrant children.
Sanjeevan participated in the Suzlon Sparrow Nestathon 2026 to promote bird conservation, with 3,210 sparrow nests distributed and installed across communities — creating safer spaces for birds and inspiring communities to protect urban biodiversity.
Our SVP partners, Ms. Parul Vaidya (CEO, SVP Pune Chapter) and mentor Harsha Joshi, spent meaningful time with children at our Bachpan Ki Buniyad Community Learning Centre for Migrant Children, encouraging learning, connection, and joyful childhood.
Our Founder, Rajendra Shendage, participated in a 3-day workshop with Suzlon and its partner organisations focused on Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), strategic programme planning, and designing effective impact-measurement systems to strengthen the quality and impact of our programmes.
Sanjeevan's first 35-day Masonry Work Upskilling Training Programme for migrant workers in Pune was successfully completed. Migrant workers gained practical, hands-on skills in masonry, strengthening their employability and opportunities for better livelihoods.
The Sanjeevan–Mirta team supported migrant workers at construction sites in completing and submitting BOCW applications, helping them access essential welfare benefits, social security, and government entitlements.
The Sanjeevan–Mirta team conducted awareness programmes for migrant workers on safe migration practices and government welfare schemes in Maharashtra — helping workers understand their rights, eligibility, and how to access essential government benefits and services.
The Sanjeevan team distributed 250 essential safety and kitchen utensil kits to migrant construction workers, helping promote workplace safety, dignity, and improved living conditions for migrant families.
