The Challenge
Every worker deserves safety and dignity
India is home to an estimated 200 million migrant workers who face poor working conditions, long hours, inadequate sanitation, and a lack of safety equipment. Many work as daily wagers without social security or stable income.
Across Pune, Nandurbar, Dhule, and Latur, Sanjeevan works to ensure migrant workers know their rights, access welfare schemes, build skills, and achieve financial independence.

Four ways we create impact
Suraksha Shiksha
Workplace safety awareness for construction workers
Educates workers at construction sites and industrial areas about workplace hazards, legal rights, and safety protocols to prevent injuries and exploitation. Every year, thousands of migrant workers are injured on site — many of them unaware of the safety standards their employers are legally required to follow.

Connecting migrants to government welfare schemes
Connects migrant families with welfare entitlements including ration cards, gas connections, health insurance, and essential documentation like Aadhaar and PAN. Millions of eligible families never access the schemes meant for them — Sanjivani bridges that gap through awareness camps, multilingual materials, and hands-on facilitation.

Skill development for livelihood upliftment
Hands-on vocational training in construction trades with NSDC-approved certifications, targeting 30–50% wage increases and placement into formal sector employment. Kaushal Nirman turns informal labourers into certified, employable professionals — giving them the recognition and income their skills deserve.

Financial literacy and digital inclusion
Empowers migrant workers with financial awareness, banking access, and digital literacy to break cycles of debt and enable economic independence. Many migrant workers earn wages that disappear through predatory lending and lack of financial planning — Arthik Saksharta teaches them to save, invest, and build.
